Back at College...Questions, Homework & Trans...

I am studying for a Certficate in Counselling Level 2 at Basingstoke College. It is an 18 week intensive course. Tuesdays in the classroom plus homework. It is doing me good. Being upskilled, being in a non-church environment, making new friends and learning a lot... My tutor is excellent. Not only is the standard of teaching very high but I enjoy the gems she drops through out the day. "Bring it into the room" is one. She also has extensive experience of dealing with people who are trans and gender fluid. I am trying to get my head round that area. I am finding the course is making me think about everyday interactions with people: to ask not tell (ask a good question, don't tell people what to do); using good questions: "I wonder why...? Have you considered...? I sense that...? What do you think about that...? How does that make you feel...?" Using Google Classroom is a whole different challenge for me but I have a mentor now to help me. Not quite sure how I will cope with exams in January...eeek!
