Gift Day 20th October - £22,000 to go...

The end is in sight; the final leg of the final lap, the end of the tunnel - whatever analogy you choose Sunday 20th October may well go down in Beacon history. That is the Gift Day. For 11 years we have been on a journey to build a building to accommodate the growth of The Beacon church. We have been in the new Beacon Centre for 2 years, £1.6m has been raised already - a magnificent achievement for a church our size. Now just £22,000 remains, that being the final amount owed to Beacon members who gave interest free loans to help put up the building. It would be a wonderful Sunday if we could finally pay off what we owe, be debt free and rejoice...
