Good Family Habits 3 - Family Holidays
If you haven't booked a family holiday for the summer yet, it is not too late. There are many late deals available at surprising prices. When the children were small most years we did either camping in Devon or France (for us in the south of England France is very easy to get too.). Children generally enjoy camping. It is a fun and inexpensive holiday option on a tight budget. Sometimes we house-swapped with another family somewhere else in the UK or did some house-sitting. Taking a family holiday is very important. Go for more than 1 week if you can to give yourself time to unpack and and unwind properly. Giving yourself in an unhurried and exclusive manner to the family is very important. Family holidays build family relationships and build memories that last for ever. Even now our children often with humour and affection recount story after story of what happened on holiday. Start thinking, planning and saving for next year...
