Good Family Habits 4 - Family Nights

Life is busy. Family life is busy. There is always so much to do - at home, at work, in the house, in the garden, with the family, travelling here and there, in the church... But time with the family is important, prioritising time altogether is important. I am grateful for the advice we were given early on to book a Family Night regularly. For us, Saturday evening worked well for Family Night together. Now you go can for a meal for instance or somewhere else, but we found that quite expensive having 4 children. Alternatively, having Family Nights at home can be hugely rewarding: popcorn, movie, pizza, board game, making something together, feeding the ducks together...whatever you choose to do have good, uninterrupted family time together. And please don't feel you have to do Family Night every Saturday; don't beat yourself up about it if you miss a Saturday; choose a time and place that suits the rhythm of your family as often as you can...
