AGM (Another Great Meeting)

AGMs don't have to be boring, dry affairs. I am pleased to say The Beacon Church AGM is none of those - we had one on Sunday. In fact, being reminded of the good things God has done, the faithfulness of His people, individual endeavour and revisiting some of the stories of recent months is stimulating and heart warming. Add to this the remarkable financial adventure of faith in nearly paying for the new building (£176k to go) and there is recipe for Another Great Meeting. Celebrating Jem's 10 years on staff, Lucy joining the staff as the long awaited Children's Pastor, having a staff team of 12 now, seeing many added to the church, 25 guests signed up for Alpha starting this week, church finances in better shape than this time last year, scores of unsung heroes serving faithfully over the months and so many activities happening in the new building. AGM indeed.
