I went to 2 churches today - Jubilee Church Farnham and Gateway Church Basingstoke - for 2 different reasons. Farnham were celebrating their 10th anniversary. It is 10 years ago this month that we planted the church with 30 people. We were meeting in Sean & Haley's house then. The church now is flourishing with over 150 people, a building, a growing staff and many ministries impacting the local community. 10 years on they are also looking to plant a church into Bordon.
Basingstoke meanwhile are celebrating meeting together on Sundays for the first time. They meet at 3.00pm in the afternoon, 30 of them - hence being able to do both in the same day. One church flourishing 10 years on, another just beginning - a beauitiful heavenly symmetry. I look forward to celebrating 10 years with Gateway and 20 years with Jubilee.
