The end of an era - The last Regional Carrotty Wood

It is with some sadness that I communicate that this years Carroty Wood (Regional Children's Camp), 2012, will be the last in its present form. There will be no Carroty Wood in 2013. The principal reason for this is the transition in Newfrontiers and the desire for UK apostles to gather families from their sphere to engage in mission together. Trying to potentially fit Carroty Wood(children's camp), New Day (teenagers camp), a Together w|e (families camp) plus a family holiday into 5 weeks is also difficult for families. Added to this, the numbers for Carroty Wood this year are well down (150) making the financial viability of Carroty Wood difficult to justify. Next summer we will be encouraged to attend Westpoint. This is a good opportunity for families to be blessed together. I want to express my thanks to the Carroty Wood Team, notably Karen Patrick, who have demonstrated enormous faithfulness and passion over 11 years of Carroty Wood – countless children have been blessed because of their energy and faith. There is still time to book into Carroty Wood 2012 – for the last one. There is also plenty of time to book into Westpoint 2012 at the preferential booking price of £65 each.
