Coping with Criticism

Most of us get criticised most days - school, home, work, playing team sports, even in church. How we handle criticism is very imoprtant for our soul, our growth and our relationships. The UCB Word for Today has been running a very helpful series on "Handling Criticism the Right Way". Here are some of the highlights: 1. Look beyond the criticism to see the critic 2. Try not to take yourself too seriously 3. Know the difference between constructive and destructive criticism 4. Concentrate on your mission and change your mistakes 5. Demonstrate emotional and spiritual maturity 6. Realise that good people get criticised 7. Always keep a good attitude 8. Spend time with the right people.
