Highlights of Church Family Night

After the leaders retreat and with much news to share we decided it would be good to gather the church family to share information on Sunday evening. The 4 of us who went away for 2 1\2 days each shared our refelctions of what we felt God was saying to us (you can see some of my thoughts below). We also shared the news that we have paid off the bank loans on the new building which leaves the £175k owed to individuals. No more interest payments to banks! We also shared the update on Amari Pregnancy Choices which Chris and Claire have been faithfully working on; our desire to employ a part\time children's pastor with interviews next month plus updates on church membership, building matters and the need for more team members for Sundays. We closed with a good time of prayer and I found Adrian Pike's prophetic word about going deeper in God, deeper in relationships, deeper as a church to be particularly helpful.
