A look at any good orgnisation and there will be a good leader and a good team. Choose people who are not like you, don't look like you, who think differently, are from a different culture. Do not be intimidated or afraid of men or women who are bigger than you, more articulate, smarter, more creative, have more money, look more successful. Are young. Have different voices in the room. Be secure enough to build a diverse team. If leadership is bringing out the best in others - this is where it starts - with the team. Bring out the best in them.
