Newbury CAP Debt Centre news

This is an important week for the Newbury CAP Debt Centre. After 4 years Lisa John the Debt Centre Manager is stepping down. Lisa has done a great job in setting up and establishing the centre. Many individuals and families have done the hard work to become debt free; countless others have been helped and supported by Lisa and her dedicated team of befrienders. Easter eggs, Christmas hampers, food parcels and clothes have been hand delivered with love. Lisa has been especially good at working with other agencies and West Berkshire council to provide the best joined up help for many. Lisa's passion, compassion and hard work with a ready smile will be a great loss. With Lisa's departure the Debt Centre will temporarily close whilst a new Centre Manager is recruited.
