What I am learning back at college...

I am back at college for 6 months. I am taking my Level 2 Certificate in Counselling at Basingstoke College (BCOT). I wanted to upskill - to get better at what I do. This means a day a week in class plus weekly assignments. I am enjoying being in class. The Tutor is very good. Each week she takes us through a series of slides. We do group work and are preparing for presentations later in the term. My triad are doing Feedback - what it is, what it isn't, how to give it, the feedback sandwich etc. I am struggling with Google classroom. A long time ago I would hand in hand written essays! Somehow I had not factored in how challenging the homework would be (1,000 words per week). I had also missed the fact there are exams in January. That said, I am enjoying learning from my tutor and my class mates. The level of vulnerability and honesty is surprising and disarming. I'll let you know how I get on...
