Highlights of Commission Leaders #LC22

What a great time. I loved it. Being with over 400 others who are invloved in church leadership was great. The worship times were great. The band were great. The speakers were great. In the morning sessions we looked at 2 Timothy in The Bible- Steve Petch spoke on Real Success - Faithfulness, Tim Blaber spoke on God's deep affection, John groves on The Sufficiency of Scripture. Bernie from Bournemouth brought a prophetic word early on to say the conference would be like a glorious meal spread out. It certainly felt like that. I am still digesting it. Margaret Ochieng spoke on Transformative Leadership in a Racialised World (racism is real and rife in the UK) whilst David Bennet spoke on Reaching out to LGBTQi community. Both were powerful with moving personal stories. How will we respond to those challenges I wonder...? But the best bit for me - being together. Oh, the pain au chocolate in the mornings too!.
