When an apostle comes to town.

Guy and Heather Miller visited Bridge Church Newbury on Sunday. Guy leads Commission, part of the Newfrontiers family of churches. He also leads Westpoint - the Bible week we go to in August. Guy looks after lots of churches and leaders and in that sense is an apostle. An apostle is one who is sent to care for churches. He is not an Apostle with a big "A" - he was not around at the time of Jesus and didn't meet the Apostle Paul! It was great to have them both with us for the day, so encouraging for us as a church and as a group of leaders. We will always remember his message on being Extravagant - extravagant in love, in worship, in prayer, in giving.
