Diary of a Church Planter - Looking for a venue

The good news is Bridge Church Newbury has grown. We have reached capacity in Speenhamland school where we meet. Like many churches starting out, we want to move somewhere bigger. The challenge is to find another Sunday venue - large space, 2 additional rooms for children's ministry, light airy circulation\coffee area, lots of free parking and available every Sunday. Not so easy. I have visited lots of venues: schools, colleges, halls, nightclubs, gyms, cinemas, warehouses, Waitrose, old churches, the Racecourse - more than 20 venues. No one tells you when you are staring out how much time you will spend looking at venues. It is not wasted though. It is fun, a good way to get to know my new town and talk to people about why churches grow. Still looking...
