Diary of a Church Planter - 18 Months On

I am feeling philosophical 18 months on...thinking about how things have gone, what has happened and where we are going as a new church. We have seen dedicated folks move to Newbury to be part of the new church; a leadership team emerge; ministries grow; worship leaders develop; giftings flourish; 5 baptisms (with more in September); several folk give their lives to Jesus; God has blessed us with a school venue and a most accomodating caretaker; a super chair of trustees and treasurer in Aimee; a lively bunch of children and young people; good relationships with other churches in West Berkshire...so much to be grateful for. I am excited about the next 18 months...
