A farmer, a bush and a lady in Sainsburys

On Sunday, Nigel Butler came to Bridge Church Newbury. He is a well known local farmer who made national news when lending his fields for a gypsy Bible Week. Not everyone approved. He is a godly man with a profound faith. In fact, faith fills the room when he speaks. He challenged us to bear good fruit like the bunch of grapes he brought, as opposed to the bush of sloes he brought which are bitter. His faith is worked out easily and naturally in everyday encounters - such as praying for a lady in Sainsbury's who was in need. An ordinary farmer living a super-ordinary life.
