Newbury - a place of courageous faith and God's Spirit

It has taken me a while to work this out, but Newbury is a place of courageous faith and God's Spirit.
For hundreds of years there has been the good, faithful people of God praying for Newbury and West Berkshire. The courageous faith of four young men in the 16th century meant they were burnt at the stake for reading The Bible - which was illegal then. The Newbury Martyrs. In recent years there have been visitations of God's Holy Spirit at St. Nicolas' church 30 years ago and at other places too; remarkable prophetic words for Newbury at the Filling Station Racecourse event in 2014 and still now a deep desire amongst the people of God in West Berkshire for more of God.
