Stunning Sunday in Newbury

It was an historic Sunday for Bridge Church Newbury - 5 baptisms and 120 people. 5 young women gave their testimonies watched by family and friends. They told their unique story of how their lives have changed coming to Christ. They were then baptised in a portable baptistry borrowed from Glendale church. It was very powerful and moving. We had a 4 piece band for the first time and provided lunch for all who wanted to stay. One visitor who does not go to church said: "I just wanted to cry". Another said, "I have a lot to think about after today". Another came who had only been to church once before - when he broke in to a church with his brother and father! Stunning Sunday.
