Sunday at Gateway church Basingstoke

Andy le Roux has done a good job. Not only does he lead The Vine Church Odiham, he is also planting a church in Basingstoke - Gateway. Beverley and I went there on Sunday afternoon to see how Andy and Kate and the church were doing. The church meets at The Viables - a delightful Arts and Crafts centre just out of town. It reminded us so much of the early days of The Beacon church - 30 good folk in a room, worshipping with 1 guitar, good contributions from around the room, sensing the presence of God and that He was about His business amongst this small yet committed group. Good tea and coffee and cake! I am sure we are witnessing the birth of what will be a large, vibrant church.
