Praying with Camberley Church Leaders
Every Thursday morning the church leaders of Camberley got together to pray. We pray for the needs of the town, for each other and for church in the area. Once a month we have breakfast together. We also share a passage of scripture. Today was Acts 27 the account of the apostle Paul and the dramatic shipwreck. It reads like something from the Russel Crowe film "Master and Commander". In reflecting on the passage I found what the other leaders had to say very insightful about leadership in crisis, God working his purposes out in spite of the seeming unfolding crisis and how sometimes in the storm you just have to cling to the piece of wood - the cross.
