Reading The Bible in a year.

My daughter commented recently on how boring reading the book of Leviticus is in The Bible. She has been trying to read through The Bible. I must say that each day reading about lists of Old Testament laws can be tedious - if that is all you are doing. Reading The Bible cover to cover takes some doing. It might be easier to work through a reading plan - varying the passages from Old and New Testament. A bit more interesting. There are many available both as books and on-line. Beverley has a year-long reading plan and recently I was drawn to Nikki Gumble's plan which is another very good on-line way of reading through the Bible. http://www.htb.org.uk/bioy/commentary/209/Alternatively you might want to buy the NIV year long Bible or for young people the Soul Survivor version. Maybe you could have a friend or family member read with you to encourage you...?
