Just spent lunchtime with John and Carol Arnott as the Catch the Fire conference in Holland nears its conclusion. John and Carol Arnott from Toronto are very loving. Very loving and powerful in the Holy Spirit. Watching them pray for people is a rare combination of tenderness and power. In fact the same can be said of the entire Catch the Fire team.
The teaching has very challenging especially when it comes to why we behave in the manner we do - our reactions to things, even though we may be Christians and new in Christ, can still have some echo of heredited family traits - how our dad reacted or our mum and passed on those sometimes unhelpful and ungodly traits to us. How we deal with those and get free of those has been part of the fun and challenging journey of being at the conference.
