Money, money, money... (part 2)

The feedback from Sundays message on Money has been very interesting as folks have gone away and looked at their finances with fresh eyes and fresh faith. For most of us we can get lazy about our money and our bank account. But reviewing our finances is an important and healthy discipline.
Here are a few more tips:
- Avoid debt if you can, especeially credit card debt.
If you are in trouble with debt then get help: CAP www.capuk.org
(Christians Aginst Poverty) or Frontline http://www.frontlinedebtadvice.org.uk/ both are good, trustworthy, descreet services to help. There is no shame is facing up to debt problems and asking for help.
Shop around for the best deals - whether that is savings interest rates, phone contracts or energy providers. Money Saving Expect is a useful website for up to date offers.
Review your giving. Giving regularly is a good, biblical discipline - to the local church, to mission, to a charity, or to an individual
