This week is half-term. I like half-term. I like time with the family, unhurried mornings, getting a few jobs done and time to read. I enjoyed reading a magazine called Newwine yesterday and found 2 articles of particular interest. One had this quote from Mark Twain:
"Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did. So throw off the bowliness. Sail away from the safe harbour. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover".
The second article I found challenging is called: " Courageous Conversations". It reads:
"What's the conversation that you have been avoiding for days, weeks, months, even years? Who is it with and what is it about? ...While no single conversation is guaranteed to change the trajectory of a career, a company, a relationship or a life, any single conversation can...If you want something or someone to change, you are the one responsible for initiating it. If something is bothering you, you need to be the one who does something about it".
