There are only 2 TV programmes I make a point of watching: Match of the Day with my son and Spooks. Spooks is a BBC TV series about spies. Each week Harry and team save the nation from the latest international crisis whilst dealing with painful personal issues. Lucas, "the best man we've got", has more than his fare share of painful, personal issues.
Apart from lots of tension, serious looks and much London photography the characters also share: inability to express their personal feelings and tell the truth, great ability to lie and get into trouble whilst still looking good; abject failure in personal relationships and permission to kill people.
I have come to the conclusion that my life is totally not like Spooks ! I am called to walk in the light, tell the truth, be honest and open and love my family above all. And not shoot people. Oh, and I dont drive a powerful black car.
I will still enjoy watching Spooks though.
