Last night at The Beacon

On Sunday night we had our final church meeting in the old Beacon church building before the builders move in next week. We worshiped God for who He is and thanked Him for the many wonderful events that have happened there and for the countless lives transformed by His Grace. Special guests were there too.
Some of those who have been around even before my 15 years spoke movingly of their memories of the place. It is good to look back and remember what God has done. On that basis it is also good to look forward to the new Beacon Centre which will open in a years time and to look forward to what God will do in the new place.
In the meantime we have the adventure of being in 7 different locations across the town housing the various ministries, activities and staff. 3 of those are other churches - a great example of The Body working together.
