Newfrontiers Team Leaders

Newfrontiers Team Leaders

On Thursday of this week I travelled to Leicester for the Team Leaders (those, like me, who lead churches but who also lead Teams looking after churches in the UK) gathering for a day. After praying and worshipping in the morning we considered: Church Planting in the UK – where we should plant churches, the training and deployment of leaders, the coaching of leaders and caught up on some news. We spent some time praying for Birmingham, the Midlands and places like Sutton Coldfield.
In the afternoon we spent some time looking at the transition of Newfrontiers – our family of churches (www.newfrontiers.xtn) particularly in the light of Mark Driscoll’s comments last year at the Brighton conference regarding Terry Virgo gradually handing over leadership of the movement. This seems to be clearer for the UK but we are still working through the transition as far as the rest of the world is concerned!
