Highlights of Rooted Conference 2026

Rooted is a leadership confernce hosting by the Commission family of churches - part of Newfrontiers. 200 leaders gathered for 2 days in Bournemouth to worship God, hear great teaching and have extended time together. Even though it was shor,t it was excellent. The highlight was having Vinu and Julie from India hosting the conference, but more then that setting expectation, shaping culture and encouraging a relationally rich family of churches. The first session Mick Taylor brought to life Abraham being visited by ane angel. This was followed by a lovely long meal together including a very taxing international quiz - I now know the ratio of sheep to people in New Zealand! Saturday morning sent shivers down the spine and the heart to be inflated as a courageous couple shared their agonising story told with such dignity and faith. "Life is loss" he said, "but I have never been closer to God". Truely inspiring. Vinu concluded the gathering with typical warmth, charm and humour. Watch out for @LC26 in Winchester in June...
