Worthwhile debate with a Muslim

Today I had a debate with a Muslim. In public. It was a special hour long 6th Form assembly. (Very appropriate on a Friday) Some questions from students had been submitted in advance for myself and Kareem to consider. They were great questions: Have you always followed your religion (No)? What are the fundamentals of your religion (Love)? What makes your religion unique? (Jesus) After the respective presentations, other questions came from the floor. Kareem is likeable, knowledgeable and earnest. I learnt a lot from him today. And I was impressed with the attentiveness and seriouness of the students, especially for an hour. Afterwards we both had small lines of students wanting to chat more and ask more questions. I was challenged by one saying: "That was so interesting. We don't do RS anymore so don't think about those things..." Very worthwhile.
