Highlights of Commission Prayer in Bournemouth

Once upon a time Newfrontiers church leaders from across the UK would gather 3 times a year for 2 days of Prayer and Fasting in Peterborough. Now that Newfrontiers has evolved into 6 apostolic spheres in the UK Commission churches (those in the South with Guy Miller) attend Commission Prayer in Bournemouth. Day 1 was actually my birthday, but any sense of piety was quickly overtaken by humility during the worship time. I also found myself praying for countries I have never prayed for before or heard much about - like Bolivia and Laos. That, after praying for churches in India, Spain, Portugal, Zambia and Ukraine where there are 30 Newfrontiers churches. We also heard news of different men and women on adventures of faith including Johnathan le Toq now First Minister of Guernsey. Inspiring, faith-building, humbling, tiring - all of those things and I should mention we had a lovely Chinese meal together. Great.
