Highlights of baptism Sunday

It was special. Four special people with four special stories: Indie, a young girl captivated by Jesus and knowing His love, Hannah a young woman who, despite adversity and fierce opposition, has persevered in her faith. David who chose God over football (but who still plays football - now on Saturdays) and Lee who also plays football and captains The Beacon B Team. Lee came to church 7 weeks ago and felt the Holy Spirit come upon him. There were lots of guests, visitors and family to cheer them on and some just looking a bit bewildered. But what a special time. It is a big thing to stand before 300 people and say you want to follow Jesus. Special.
