Highlights of Commission Prayer & Fasting 30th April

Prayer & Fasting is always a highlight in the diary - 80 church leaders in a room sharing inspiring stories and challenges and praying together. This time Harvest Church Alton hosted the event. There was news of church planting in Gosport, Poole, Aukland and Milan; news of 17 baptisms in Salisbury last week with the largest Sunday attendance; news from Bideford (US & UK!), Bude and Seaton; and prayer for churches and leaders struggling - a healthy dose of reality. And churches needing leaders - Caversham and Red Deer. Kirsty from Winchester helped us pray for children & young people and the 9,000 booked in to the NewDay festival! Martin Flood helped us think about Partnership from Phil 1:3-14. Totally brilliant. We also considered how we are making room for the Holy Spirit in meetings. A full and exhilerating day.
