12 Weeks after surgery...

12 weeks ago I had surgery for an inguenal hernia. Apparently it takes 3 months before you feel fully better. Well, I do feel better but not fully better. The wound has healed nicely. I do not have the protrusion out of my groin, but I can feel it. I guess that is because there is some guauze stuck in there now - a foreign body in my groin. I have put on weight. I have slowed down. I am unfit. So, some work to do now. I have been back at the pool. I have started running again, back on my bicycle and returned to walking football this week (yes, I know Walking football). Looking back I may have waited a bit longer before having the op but the doctors did say it would get worse - the tear bigger with more of me falling out!
