Mark's Book Review of The Salt Path by Raynor Winn

This book is extraordinary. It is a true story. It is extraordinary that a couple in the 50s who loose their home and receive a very bad health diagnosis should decide to walk the 620 mile South West Coastal Path. The story of them having little or no money, wild camping in their flimsy tent against the elements is a compelling read. What is also interesting is the positive health benefits the long walk has on Moth (Raynor's husband). The scenery, the people they meet, what they learn about homelessness all make for an interesting read.
If you are going on holiday to Cornwall or Devon this year - this could be the book for you!
