It must have been very inconvenient for Mary - a young virgin trying to tell her fiancee and family that she was pregnant by the Holy Spirit. The resultant ridicule, rejection and pain must have been very inconvenient indeed. Obedience can be inconvenient. So God's son would be born in the right place at the right time to fulfil an ancient prophecy.
