Highlights of Westpoint 2014 Part 1
Westpoint is brilliant. 4,000 delegates in Devon for the w\e at a Christian festival - one of the many around the UK over the summer. Westpoint is run by Commission - part of the Newfrontiers family of churches. The venue is great with permanent buildings and lots for children and families to do; when the children are well-looked after and entertained mum & dad can relax and enjoy it too. The speakers this year include Donnie Briggs - an American with a very long beard and humble spirit, Phil Moore author and pastor from London and the theologian Mike Reeves. One of the highlights for me is seeing the The Beacon Church family together, eating together, playing spontaneous games (Nerf war !) or just chatting with a mug of tea.
