5 days into 10...

We are still having an extraordinary week following the visit of Terry Virgo on Sunday. We are now 5 days into 10 - our Ten Days of Prayer and Fasting. We are meeting every evening for 10 consecutive days at The Beacon from 8.00pm to pray. To be honest, it is good just to spend some time before God after a busy day - to get refreshed and re-invigorated in Him. 10 has also come at a good time for us as a church as it coincides with the re-engineering of Small Groups and the Gift Day on Sunday. The Gift Day is principally towards the new building which houses most of the ministries of The Beacon. Due to the consistent generosity of the people of God plus diligent house keeping by the finance team the amount outstanding is now £92,000. £1.5m has already been raised. Wow. So let's do as Terry suggested and be supporters and make up our mind what to bring before God.
