Many families have their own traditions at this time of year. One of those for the L-S family is News Years Eve Hopes and Dreams. After lunch on 31st Dec we gather around the kitchen table and review our Hopes and Dreams for the coming year having first reviewed what happened in the year gone by. We all write them down together and talk about them (this year we had 2 friends join us). Then we thank God for the year just gone and pray for the New Year. It is a sober, humbling, holy and hilarious time.
2012 for the L-S family was full of life-change events - Adam and Luki getting married, Joseph graduating, Tom getting a job and Phoebe starting at 6th Form College. 2013 is a little more difficult to predict but I have still written my Hopes and Dreams...
