It is good to slow down and stop and think...

Living in the South East of England is very busy. The roads are busy; family life is busy, going into town is busy, my job is demanding and busy, we have lots of phones and screens and interruptions that keep us busy. I am very busy - like most of us. It is good therefore to slow down and stop and think. To contemplate. Sometimes we can do that on our own (a quite day or hour with a piece of paper), sometimes we might need a but of help - like a good book. Epiphanies of the Ordinary by Charlie Cleverley (St. Aldates, Oxford) is such a  book, helping us to stop and think and contemplate what life is really for, who are you living for and for what? Full of Biblical examples, modern day heroes and good practice, this book is an excellent summer read.
