"We have seen wonderful things today" - this is what some of those following Jesus said after watching Him perform a miracle. I feel a bit like that after being in a meeting with Julian Adams. This was a Newfrontiers regional gathering of leaders from across the Home Counties. After speaking eloquently on "Creating a Culture of the Supernatural in the local church" Julian then had a number of words of knowledge for people and said things by the Holy Spirit that he could not have known: to Colin & Ruth that they are thinking about church planting and how they are to go about it; to Simon about the disappointment he feels regarding cancer (he buried one of his best friends last year who died from cancer - Julian did not know this); how the church building is going to be re-designed (he met the architect that morning!); to Sean about the struggle he had with depression in July 2008 (Julian was right) and the plans God has for him ... extraordinary insight by the Holy Spirit.
I need to know God more.
