Fatal car crash

As a family we are reeling from the news of a car crash this week. Alice (Joseph's girlfriend) was the front seat passenger with her good friend Annie driving. Behind Annie was Rory. Behind Alice, Solomon. Alice and Solomon walked away from the crash with cuts and bruises and are traumatised. Rory has multiple injuries and was operated on for 5 hours yesterday. He is in ICU but will recover. Annie, sitting next to Alice died on the scene.
Alice is in shock. We are all terribly sad. Joseph (my son) is doing his best to bring some comfort to Alice whilst himself being in shock.
Annie was from a church in Bracknell - Kerith Community Church. Simon Benham, the church leader, has written movingly about Annie and how we can respond to the tragic news:

Please pray for Annie's family, for Rory's recovery and all those affected by this tragedy.
I have found these words from the apostle Paul comforting from 1. Thessalonians 4:13,
"Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him"
