I have just come back from Peterborough having enjoyed a very stimulating and high octane Holy Spirit 2 days of Prayer & Fasting with 600 other church leaders from the Newfrontiers family in the UK. One of the highlights was listening to Matt Chandler on Tuesday evening. He was brilliant. He comes from The village Church, Texas. Mat makes God big, makes you small while covering you with His grace. He is refreshingly honest too about his own serious health struggles as he fights cancer and the impact that has upon his faith. His comments warning against therapeutic deism, treating Jesus as our fairy and other frequent traits bring you up short.
