This is one of the most powerful books I have ever read. This is Ginny's story. Not for the faint hearted. The horrific childhood abuse, the beatings and bullying make for difficult reading. But then on her 18th birthday everything changes when she steps into her local Methodist church. If you ever thought nobody could change, read Ginny's story. If you ever wondered if God was real, if He cares about you, or even does stuff, read Ginny's story. If you are struggling with the pain or hurt others have infflicted on you, read Ginny's story. It is encouraging, faith-building, funny, scary, instructive and powerful.
