Enchanted by The Highlands of Scotland

We have just got back from our first holiday in The Highlands: clean air, good weather, jaw dropping scenery, great drives, stunning walks, the long climb up Ben Nevis, good food in local inns, surprising wildlife (including 2 stags nearby), lots of accommodation, lots to see and do, culminating at The Edinburgh Festival. Why have I not been before...?!
